Discovering through trusted friends
By Tim | April 9, 2008
Probably my favourite thing about blogging is how you can read a blog by someone you’ve come to really appreciate and trust, and confidently follow a link to something and so often be sure of finding treasure. A simple example is Len’s reference to a song by Andrew Peterson, someone I’ve certainly not knowingly listened to before. The song is OK, but there is one section that just lept to another level for me. Having been present at the birth of all three of my daughters his song on the incarnation (Labor of love) I think you gain an entry point into Joseph’s position in the song, and then came the lines:
So he held her and he prayed
Shafts of moonlight on his face
But the baby in her womb
He was the maker of the moon
He was the Author of the faith
That could make the mountains move.

and an amazing insight into this unborn child and who he really is.
