Sorry for yet another IT focused entry – if its not Vista and corporate computing issues then its my growing appreciation of my Macbook Pro 😉
I’d only fiddled around with booting into OS/X up until recently, but the success of getting Entourage to work with multiple Exchange servers has now combined with managing to find a way from OS/X to write to NTFS disks (e.g. the larger portion of this Macbook’s internal hard disk.
With read only access programs like iTunes insisted in copying my entire music library from the read only NTFS partition to the Mac one before using the files. I was starting to run out of space, especially using Parallels as well.
But in stepped a great article, and a wonderful software driver development that have enabled write access to the NTFS partition. At last from Mac mode I have access to everything (apart from my Windows based offline files and folders – any ideas anyone?)
